But according to the Daily Mail, the FA will not make any formal approach for the Manchester City boss until their court case — where 115 charges have been brought against them — has concluded.

Guardiola has hinted over the last 12 months that his time in Manchester could be coming to an end. The successful manager has completed almost everything possible in club management and said he could see himself managing an international team as his next challenge. His words may have played a part in the FA appointing Lee Carsley as interim boss for the time being.
Guardiola is looking to lead Manchester City to their fifth consecutive Premier League title. The 53-year-old has won 38 major honours in total during his time as a manager, including the Champions League, La Liga and Bundesliga.
For now, Guardiola's focus will be on City and their aspirations for the 2024-25 season. Next up is a trip to Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Tuesday.
