Aleksander Pavlovic wants to lure his friend Nick Woltemade to Bayern Munich after the forward's stellar campaign with Stuttgart and Germany U21s.

TogglePavlovic admitted that he would be happy to be united with Woltemade at Bayern amid claims the Bundesliga champions could snap him up.

Woltemade scored 17 goals and provided three assists in all competitions for Stuttgart last season. He is in fine form at the European Under 21 Championship, too, having scored a hat-trick in the first game, netted one and set up two in the next, and then scored one and assisted another as they beat Italy in the quarter-finals. His performances have not gone unnoticed as Bayern could go for the German striker, having been told by a former captain to sign him as a successor for Harry Kane. Chelsea have also been credited with interest.
Pavlovic has commented on the reported interest, telling : "Nick is a good friend of mine. And I would be delighted, of course. I've already joked around with him a few times. We'll see what's in store for him in the future."
Asked about his form for the U21s, Pavlovic said: "I'm very happy that they're now in the semi-finals. I didn't watch the game against Italy, only the goals, including those from Nick Woltemade."
Pavlovic and Bayern are set to take on Benfica in the Club World Cup while Woltemade is set to face Netherlands in the Euro U-21 semi-finals.
